Annual Success Bootcamp

Success Bootcamp is a signature youth professional preparation initiative of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. It is nation’s most intense “microinternship” experience for minority high school students.

Working with trainers, facilitators, coaches, and mentors from every level of the corporate world, academia, and the public policy arena, students summon the courage to tackle extreme high pressure situations. At the same time, they learn by doing—preparing for college by visiting campuses, for their careers by engaging corporate recruiters and executives, and to seize leadership opportunities by collaborating to make their communities better now. They are required to solve the world’s problems and then defend their ideas. And in the process, they begin to realize that the limits to their potential are only those that they place there themselves.

The Cincinnati Experience

The LOT Success Bootcamp is the most intense adventure a high school student will ever experience! From preparing for the SAT daily at 7am that leads to non-stop educational events throughout the day, ending with a networking event our students survived the week. (See Student Schedule)

Returning home was both well awaited and bitter-sweet as our LOT students met and connected with students from all over the world! Additionally, the students met major celebrities and business persons who lent the students personal knowledge of raising to CEO status of corporate America, financial institutions as well as media moguls to name a few!

If that is not enough as an induction into the LOT program, the students participate in an Annual Blue Blazer Ceremony! Each student is presented with a personalized LOT blue blazer from the president of their respective chapters in the presence of their peers, NBMBAA members and celebrity guest! It is an amazing event that all students should experience.
